With the holidays coming up, thought I would share one idea that worked well for us - Math Mission is some impressive software. The game presents a number of interesting scenarios for kids to solve. Your character explores Spectacle City where the clerks in the stores are not particularly good at math. So your character has to help them with math through counting, sorting, classifying, and problem solving. The character then gets paid and can use the $ to travel and play games. There is a K-2 version and a 3-5 grade version. The game also tracks your progress so the difficulty increases.
The software is very helpful for children to learn more in mathematics. This mission can work to motivate students in learning. So interesting blog, thanks for posting!

Hi,
My sons school subscribe to an Online system called "Mathletics" which appears to be quite popular around the world.
One fun feature is to pit yourself against others in a speed competition.
On the few occasions my son has been alowed to play it at home we have had to "surgicaly extract" him to do the boring stuff like eat and go to bed...
